Ruric Thar, the Unbowed If you want to play a deck like Nikya of the Old Ways that either discourages or prevents you from playing noncreature spells, Ruric Thar, the Unbowed is going to pack a wallop, especially if you protect it

This one-cost artifact costs an additional one to equip to a creature, gives it +1/-1, and if the creature dies, its controller draws two cards

It has surprisingly never been reprinted before, but as a Special Guest, could certainly make its way into Magic players decks again
